Engaging with change

Times of dramatic change can be overwhelming, but they can also be catalysts for innovation and an opportunity for thoughtful transformation.

This training offers public health leaders and managers a chance to reflect on their own relationship with change, understand how to break down resistance to change, and empower their teams and organizations to harness change as a powerful part of their work.

Learners will gain skills and tools to navigate change and explore what it means to be a learning organization. They will also look at how their organization’s systems and processes help or hinder their work to address change as a normal course of business. Are those systems and processes sufficiently flexible, adaptable, and accountable? Are they adequate for the level of change the organization is experiencing? If not, what other systems or strategies are needed?

Register today for this four-week training, taught by two instructors from the Public Health Management Certificate program, to learn how to engage with change.
