Tuition Stipends - for Master's Students in Addiction Counseling
Are you a Master's student in Addiction Counseling interested in working with underserved communities, including minority populations, LGBTQ populations, and/or transition age youth?
If so, apply for the NAADAC Minority Fellowship Program for Addiction Counselors (NMFP-AC)! The NMFP-AC is for master’s level students from all backgrounds enrolled full-time in either an addiction counseling Master's program or a Master's program with a concentration in addiction counseling.
Students who commit to working with the needs of transition age youth and/or racial and ethnic minorities for six months post-graduation will be provided tuition stipends of up to $18,000 per student, training, education, and professional mentorship.
Applicants must:
- Be U.S. citizens or Legal Permanent Residents.
- Be enrolled full time in either an addiction counseling Master's program or a Master's program with a concentration in addiction counseling from an accredited institution.
- Agree to attend orientation training, and complete six required educational webinars.
- Agree to work with a NMFP-AC-provided mentor.
- Commit to providing at least six months post-fellowship addiction/substance use disorders counseling to underserved populations, defined as minority populations, LGBT populations, and/or transition age youth populations.
- Submit a complete application that includes all required supporting documentation.
- Not have been previously notified of ineligibility by NMFP-AC.
