SAVE THE DATE - Strengthening Families Program for Parents and Youth 10-14 Facilitator Announcement

WSU Extension of Benton and Franklin Counties is offering facilitator training for this research- and evidence-based, internationally-recognized best practice model. The training will cover the English language Strengthening Families Program (SFP).

The facilitator training will:

  • Prepare participants to be facilitators who are connected to existing teams/sites and agency representatives who are considering implementing the program;
  • Cover best practices for facilitating the 21 parent, youth, and family sessions in the curriculum;
  • Include the latest updates on Strengthening Families research that is happening in Washington State;
  • Help participants and organizations develop an implementation plan for successful programming in the community; and
  • Review reporting and evaluation process for WSU and implementing sites.
