SAMSHA/CSAP Prevention Fellow

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s (SAMHSA) Center for Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP) is accepting applications for the Prevention Fellowship Program.

The Prevention Fellowship Program invites qualified individuals who are seeking professional growth in the field of substance abuse prevention. Fellows receive a yearly stipend of up to $37,000, and will be required to work 32 hours per week.  There are 15 Fellow positions available. These individuals will be assigned to a mentor from participating State agencies and National Organizations throughout the United States and U.S. Pacific Jurisdictions. Applications will be accepted from eligible candidates through Friday, August 14, 2015. To apply, candidates may complete and submit the online application, which is available at http://www.seiservices.com/SAMHSA/csap/preventionfellowship/newapplicant.aspx.

Applicants will be notified of their selection status on or before Friday, September 4, 2015.Selected candidates are tentatively expected to begin the Prevention Fellowship Program on or after September 15, 2015.
