PBPS Training

Power Point Presentations that demonstrate the steps for using the various functions of the Performance Based Prevention System (PBPS). The PBPS is the MIS for the Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery's Substance Abuse Prevention and Mental Health Promotion Services.

We recommend using Google Chrome or an updated web browser to view these slides.

If you are using an older version of Internet Explorer, you will need to run the Power Point in Slide Show mode when it opens. There is a tab at the top of the screen titled "Slide Show" Click the tab and then your choices are "From Beginning" or "From Current Slide".

Module 1 "Getting Started" 
In this guide you will learn how to Log into PBPS, Create and Edit User Accounts, and Troubleshoot common login issues.

Module 2 "Planning"
In this guide you will learn how enter your Risk / Protective Factor Planning, Objectives, Add Programs, and enter Coalition information, including Adding Participants and Groups.

Module 3 "Service Entry" 
In this guide you will learn how enter Single and Recurring Services, Survey Data, Environmental Strategies, and Coalition Activities.

Module 4 "Reports"
In this guide you will learn how to Run Reports and learn which Reports will be the most useful for tracking progress.
