National Prevention Week - Youth Marijuana Use (Thursday, May 21)

Do you know a parent that wants to talk to their kids about marijuana, but doesn't know where to start?  This parent's guide is a great resource!  A Parent's Guide to Preventing Underage Marijuana Use was developed by Seattle Children’s Hospital and revised and printed for statewide distribution by DBHR.

May 17-23, 2015 is National Prevention Week, a SAMHSA-supported annual health observance dedicated to increasing public awareness of, and action around, substance abuse and mental health issues.

The theme for 2015 is “The Voice of One, the Power of All.”   The website contains simple ways anyone can promote this theme, such as the  “I Choose” Project.
