How Can We Keep It Going? Key Ingredients for Evidenced Based Program Sustainability - A Webinar

Evidence-based programs aimed at improving youth and family well-being can fail easily when there is little or no planning for how to sustain the program past the first few initial implementations. Funding is often called out as the major reason for why programs do not last in communities, and although this is clearly a necessary piece of the sustainability puzzle, it is not sufficient on its own. In this webinar, Brittany Cooper and Drew Betz, Washington State University faculty, will describe how program coordinators can proactively plan for sustainability by using an evidence-based tool called the Program Sustainability Assessment Tool. By assessing your program’s capacity in eight key areas known to be associated with sustainability success, you will learn to effectively and efficiently take advantage of your strengths and build capacity in areas of weakness.
