Washington Opioid STR Grant for CPWI Expansion RFA # 18/19-001 [posted 5/8/17]

The Washington State Department of Social and Health Services, Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery (DSHS/DBHR) intends to award up to five new grants to public agencies or community-based organizations to provide prevention services to high-need communities.

Partnership for Success Carryover Enhancement Projects RFA # 18/19-002 [posted 6/16/17]

PFS Carryover Enhancement Project 18/19-002 funds are to support Community Prevention and Wellness Initiative (CPWI) communities to enhance on-going prevention work (work previously approved in strategic plans). Each CPWI Coalition is eligible to apply for both 18/19-002 and 18/19-003 (below).

Partnership for Success Targeted Enhancement Projects Year 5 RFA # 18/19-003 [CORRECTION posted 07/11/17]

PFS Year 5 Enhancement Project 18/19-003 funds are to support Community Prevention and Wellness Initiative (CPWI) communities that have the need, capacity, and readiness to implement select projects that aim to enhance community-based prevention. Each CPWI community is eligible to apply for both 18/19-002 (above) and 18/19-003.

Community-based Prevention Services for Youth Marijuana Misuse and Abuse Prevention RFA # 18/19-004 [CORRECTION posted 07/07/17]

DMA Community-based Prevention Services 18/19-004 funds are to support service entities that demonstrate excellence in service delivery of substance abuse prevention to priority high-need communities, communities of color, veterans and military families, persons with disabilities, and members of LGBTQ communities.

Community-based Prevention Services for Opioid Misuse and Abuse Prevention RFA # 18/19-008 [posted 6/16/17]

STR CBO Grant Application – June 2017 18/19-008 funds are to support service entities to provide quality and culturally competent replications of evidence-based and research-based substance use prevention programs that focus on reducing the misuse and abuse of opioids.

Tribal Dedicated Marijuana Account Youth Prevention and Treatment Projects RFA # 18/19-005 [CORRECTION posted 07/20/17]

Tribal DMA Youth Prevention and Treatment Projects 18/19-005 funds are to support Tribal governments for the purposes of increasing prevention and treatment services to Tribal governments in the State of Washington (in accordance with RCW 69.50.545).

Mental Health Promotion Project Grant Application 18/19-007 funds are to support activities and strategies related to the promotion of mental health in Tribal communities. Note: Tribes which participated in the MHPP in the last fiscal year do not need to re-apply.

Community-based Mental Health Promotion/Suicide Prevention Services RFA # 18/19-006 [updated 07/13/17]

MHPP Grant Application – June 2017 18/19-006 funds are to support service entities that serve high-need communities in Washington State to provide quality and culturally competent replications of evidence-based, research-based and promising mental health promotion and suicide prevention programs. Organizations are encouraged to partner with Community Prevention and Wellness Initiative (CPWI) Coalitions or other existing community coalitions when possible.
