December 2, 2013 is the deadline for youth to submit original music and/or music videos as part of the GRAMMY Foundation® and MusiCares® Teens! Make Music Contest.
Per the website, http://drugfactsweek.drugabuse.gov/music_contest.php, this contest offers an opportunity for aspiring teen musicians to use the healing and uplifting medium of music to help spread the message about the importance of healthy choices and the potential negative consequences due to drug abuse. The first-place winner will receive a $500 cash award and two tickets to the 56th Annual GRAMMY Awards® at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, Calif. on Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014.
