Funding Opportunity -- Mental Health Promotion and Suicide Prevention Projects

DBHR is pleased to announce the availability of funding to support implementation of research-based and promising practices for mental health promotion and suicide prevention. Eligible applicants include community coalitions such as the Community Prevention and Wellness Initiative (CPWI) coalitions, Drug Free Community Coalitions or suicide prevention coalitions. Additional eligible applicants include community based organizations providing service to youth and Educational Service Districts.

Applications will be due January 19, 2016.
There is a total of $340,000 available to support research-based interventions and $60,000 to support promising practices. The funding period is January – June 2016.

There will be two webinars to provide an overview of the project.
