Focus on the Future - Together for Healthy Communities CONFERENCE

Formerly known as 'Substance Abuse: A Community Response (and before that, Meth and More: Drug Abuse in Our Area), TOGETHER! is partnering with Evergreen Council on Problem Gambling for a bigger, better conference with more continuing education credits than ever before!

Focus on the Future – TOGETHER! will combine the best of the annual conferences both our organizations have offered over the years to provide valuable insights on the tools and resources available for effective prevention; treatment and community engagement, as well as offering information on trends and innovative topics in community resiliency; prevention, treatment and policy issues surroungin opioids, tobacco, and marijuana; therapeutic justice; mental health; homelessness; gambling, gaming and internet addiction; community service models and more.

Early bird registration rates are good through March 31. Two-day ($125-$175) and four-day ($250-$350) registrations options and limited scholarship opportunities available.

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT DETAILS:

  • *TOGETHER! is an Approved Provider of Continuing Education by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing (NCHEC) to provide Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) credits, and by the Professional Educator Standards Board (PESB) to offer clock hours for educators.
  • *The Evergreen Council on Problem Gambling’s training workshops qualify toward the 30 hours of gambling-specific education required by the Washington State and National Problem Gambling Certification Boards for certification. Additionally, ECPG is an Approved Provider of Continuing Education by The Association for Addiction Professionals (NAADAC) and the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG). Workshops have also been approved by the Addiction Counselor Certification Board of Oregon (ACCBO) and the American Academy of Healthcare Providers in the Addictive Disorders (AAHCPAD) for continuing education. 
  • *NEW (BREAKING NEWS) -- Washington State Bar Association Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits available!
  • *Some sessions apply towards Prevention Specialist Certification Board of Washington Certified Prevention Professional (CPP) or Associate Prevention Professional (APP) certification requirements.
