Executive Director - Washington Association for Infant Mental Health (WA-AIMH)

The Board of Directors of the Washington Association for Infant Mental Health (WA-AIMH) is pleased to announce it is recruiting for the position of Executive Director. It’s an exciting time at WA-AIMH as demand for infant mental health training and endorsement increases and there is growing recognition regionally and nationally for support of the early childhood workforce. Our new leader will have the opportunity to build on our growing momentum and lead the organization into its next chapter as an important partner for early childhood development.  

The ideal candidate is a collaborative and reflective leader with an understanding of infant mental health and a passion for working on behalf of the healthy development of young children and their caregivers. We seek an independent and entrepreneurial leader with experience leading and managing within the unique complexities of small nonprofit organizations. Creativity, resourcefulness, and the ability to organize and inspire groups are key attributes for success in this position.
