DSHS Prevention Policy and Project Manager

We are seeking a Prevention Policy and Project Manager - to join our hard working team of professionals within the Behavioral Health Administration, Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery (DBHR), located in Lacey, Washington. Ideally we would like you to work in Lacey, however, this is open for discussion.

In this role, you will serve as the expert for prevention of youth marijuana; Project Manager for the Dedicated Marijuana Account (DMA), marijuana policy and I-502; and manage partnerships with other state agencies related to relevant projects and initiatives.  This project has significant impact on the quality of care and activities that improve the lives of vulnerable youth and their families.

You will also provide expert guidance, advice and consultation to DBHR Prevention Section, senior management and leadership about evidence based curriculum and outcomes, youth marijuana and other substances use prevention policy, training, technical assistance, community prevention services development and implementation and evaluation.
