DOH Releases Request for Information - Organizations Providing Communication Services to Diverse Communities

The Washington State Department of Health (DOH) seeks to improve its ability to contract with community-based organizations/businesses that provide health communications services to diverse communities. Further, the Marijuana Prevention and Education Program at the Washington State Department of Health has an opportunity to fund communications work that will directly reach the following communities in Washington:

  • Asian/Pacific Islander
  • African Americans
  • Hispanic/Latino
  • Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender & Queer
  • American Indian/Alaska Native

The attached Request for Information will help us learn about the organizations doing work with these communities in our state.

As a state agency, the only way DOH can receive proposals for our funding is through our online portal, WEBS. If you would like to receive information about this and other funding opportunities in the future, follow the instructions in the attached document to sign up for WEBS. If you know of an organization that would be interested in this work, please forward this email.
