CPWI Coordinator wins Champion for Children Award

Congratulations to Nancy Fiander, CPWI Coordinator in White Swan.  She was awarded the third annual Champion for Children award at the 2017 Student Support Conference on May 11, 2017.

Nancy was recognized because of her over 35 years of dedication to vulnerable and underserved youth.  Nancy began her work as a school nurse, and about 10 years ago became involved in a community coalition that addresses youth substance abuse prevention.  She works with the White Swan DreamMakers to promote health, wellbeing, and prevention.

This award is sponsored by the Foundation for Healthy Generations.
